How to Apply

Applying to our programs is a simple and guided process. Follow the steps below to ensure a successful application.

Step 1: Schedule a School
Tour

Fill out the site tour request form to schedule an in-person or online school tour and meet with one of our admission officers to get a thorough understanding of GCHS. Discuss your child's study plan and expectations with us.

Step 2: Choose the Right Program

Select the program that best fits your child.

OSSD Program: Supports application to three Ontario universities
Elite University Preparation Program: Guides application to seven universities world wide.

Step 3: Consider Boarding or Day Campus Options

Applicants opting for boarding will benefit from comprehensive accommodation, meal plans, and dormitory management.

Step 4: Application Timeline

Submit your child's application between February and August each year. Mid-year applications are also accepted, and class enrollment will depend on availability.

Step 5: Initial Assessment

Provide your child's academic transcripts and regular study materials. This step helps us to evaluate our child's suitability for the program.

Step 6: Interview with the
Principal

If your child passes the initial assessment, they will be invited to an interview. This is an opportunity to discuss their academic goals, study plan, expectations and preparedness for the program.
