This Saturday, Globe Cambridge School is pleased to partner with the Toronto Botanical Garden to offer a thoughtfully curated family experience that brings together nature, creativity, and community. Designed as an open and welcoming public event in Toronto, the afternoon invites families to engage in plant-themed, hands-on activities that reflect the educational philosophy at the heart of GCS: inquiry, observation, and purposeful exploration. Children are welcome to participate in a drop-in botanical craft, while families may gather outdoors to roast marshmallows by the firepit or spend a quiet moment together in the Garden’s indoor reading spaces. New this year, in collaboration with Globe Cambridge School educators, families will have the opportunity to explore plant-based clay art — pressing real leaves, stems, and seeds into air-dry clay to discover natural textures and patterns, and to take home a keepsake shaped by their own curiosity.
